The partnership will help spur artificial intelligence research and development across industry, government, and academia in the region. The datacenter will be powered by NVIDIA's Blackwell Ultra systems, which will include GB300 NVL72 rack solutions, NVLink, Quantum InfiniBand, and Spectrum-X Ethernet networkingNVIDIA, CEO, Jensen Huang said, "Foxconn and NVIDIA are collaborating to create a cutting-edge AI infrastructure for Taiwan's world-class technology and electronics ecosystem."The AI supercomputer will become one of the most powerful in Taiwan, offering high-performance computing capacity to serve multiple industries. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) will use the system to boost its research and development, promising faster performance than older-generation systems.Aside from the supercomputer, Foxconn's subsidiary Big Innovation Company will also be NVIDIA's first Cloud Partner in Taiwan. This further deepens the partnership between the two entities and provides broader access to NVIDIA's GPU ecosystem via the DGX Cloud Lepton platformThe AI infrastructure will enable Foxconn's three significant strategic platforms: Smart Manufacturing, Smart Electric Vehicles (EVs), and Smart Cities. Through the use of sophisticated AI capabilities, Foxconn wants to boost its international competitiveness and responsiveness in the fast-changing technology environment.This alliance highlights the increased focus on AI-powered innovation and global collaboration in the technology sector, solidifying Taiwan as a hub of the global AI ecosystem. Abu Dhabi's leading global enabler of trade and logistics company AD Ports Group is expanding its business to Central Asia. The company has signed an agreement with Kazakhstan's national oil company KazMunayGas (KMG). Under this partnership, SD Ports Group is planning to build four shallow draft containerships, specially designed for the Caspian Sea. Each of the built forts will have a capacity of 780 TEU and will be investing with KMG in up to four Aframax tankers.For AD Ports, Kazakhstan has appeared as a major hub for the group's strategy to develop the East-West Silk Road Middle Corridor. With Kazakhstan's new terminal this corridor will be built in a modern structure. This corridor will be running from China, through Central Asia and Pakistan, into Europe.SEMURG has signed with the preliminary heads of the team for the investment. The investment from SEMURG will be supporting the joint venture in designing, developing, financing and operating the Sarzha Multipurpose Terminal (SMT) at Kuryk Seaport on the Caspian Sea. The new designed SMT terminal will be effectively designed to handle general cargo, containers, and dry bulk cargoes.CEO of AD Ports, Captain Mohamed Juma AL Shamisi said, "The Middle Corridor is the shortest, least environmentally impactful way to transport goods from China to Europe, and our investments reflect Kazakhstan's growing role as an emerging export leader."
