AgiBot, a Shanghai-based robotics startup founded in 2023, has secured a significant order from automotive parts manufacturer Fulin Precision to deploy nearly 100 robots in its production facilities.
The A2-W robots, featuring dual arms and wheels, are built for versatile manufacturing floor operations such as loading, unloading, and transporting goods. In July, AgiBot conducted a successful demonstration at Fulin Precision’s factory, where the robots met the monthly production line target within a single shift. According to the company, once fully deployed, the A2-W units will be capable of supporting the production of 500 units per shift and executing approximately 10,000 box-moving actions in the same timeframe.
Key Highlights
The integration of AgiBot’s advanced robotics solutions is expected to enhance Fulin Precision’s operational efficiency and reduce manual handling requirements. By leveraging robotics automation, Fulin aims to optimize productivity, improve consistency, and address labor challenges in its manufacturing workflow.
