Amazon Web Services (AWS) opened its first AWS Innovation Hub in Asia Pacific today (APAC). The new hub is situated in downtown Singapore, in the AWS corporate office, measuring 8,000 sq ft. Through this hub CEOs and business leaders in APAC will be able to interact with Amazon-enabled technologies across the world.
According to the sources, 30 partner solutions will be made available across 50 real-world customer case studies, based on the customer experience of using cloud technology. The main aim of the hub is to fast-track the digital and artificial intelligence transformation and innovation across APAC’s private sector organizations. AWS has also asserted that it has committed to investing USD 9 billion into Singapore's cloud infrastructure by 2028. Additionally, the hub is also planning to provide an exclusive learning experience to 200 students about innovation and technology.

Innovation Hub will also be focusing on the pace of the technology evolution of AWS. Already few of the technologies like Netatech, a mini bike manufacturing plan by AWS’s E-bike Smart Factory, ST Engineering's AGIL Trust, Goldman Sachs, Project Kuiper, Amazon Rufus and Amazon Robotics are a few of the showcasing innovations in the hub.
