DHL Renews Partnership with MIDA to Boost Malaysia Logistics Hub Status

US logistics colossus DHL has reaffirmed its strategic collaboration with the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) through an updated memorandum of understanding, further solidifying Malaysia's role as a premier logistics and supply chain hub in Southeast Asia.

The partnership unites all four DHL business units in Malaysia — DHL Express, DHL Supply Chain, DHL Global Forwarding, and DHL eCommerce — to collaborate with MIDA in building the country's logistics hub and attracting foreign investment.

The collaboration is a culmination of fruitful collaboration since 2023, which propelled investments in priority sectors like electronics, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, chemicals, and the digital economy in eight states of Malaysia.

Investments by DHL in warehouse expansions and logistics centers are aimed at luring multinational corporations and enabling supply chains that are resilient and technologically advanced, solidifying Malaysia's position as a strategic regional gateway and competitive investment hub.
