Key Highlights:
UAE has taken its next step in sustainable construction with future operations. Emirates Extrusion Factory (EEF), and UCS Green Solutions Building and Construction Materials Trading (UCS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to manufacture and promote the Green Curtain Wall System with Zero Material Wastage. This will be the region's first green curtain wall system.
This newly built green curtain wall system will play a significant role in the UAE technology industry. The zero-waste design of this new system will support the green infrastructure of the country. This new innovative wall system will now lead the way for future developers and architects to maintain sustainable choices while manufacturing.
Under this sustainable agreement, EEF will exclusively manufacture the pioneering product developed by UCS. UCS-manufactured products will be engineered with precision to eliminate material waste during installation. The goals of this partnership have aligned with the new set benchmark by the regional construction industry. These partnership goals also support UAE’s long-term industrial and environmental goals including Operation 300bn and the Net Zero by 2025 strategic initiative.
Managing Director of UCS Solutions Building and Construction Materials Trading, Ebrahim Mohammad Abdallah said, “At UCS, we believe true innovation lies in solving real-world challenges- and material waste in construction is one of the most pressing. This zero-waste curtain wall system is not just a technical advancement, it’s a statement of the intent for the industry.”
This new collaboration highlights the efficiency of the local partnerships in building a sustainable environment.
