Bengaluru-based travel and lifestyle startup Escape Plan has raised US$5 million in a seed funding round, marking a significant milestone in its journey to build a modern, design-forward travel brand.
The round was led by Jungle Ventures’ First Cheque initiative and Fireside Ventures, signaling strong investor confidence in the startup’s fast-growing business model. Founded in 2025 by Abhinav Pathak and Abhinav Zutshi, Escape Plan is building a multi-brand platform for travel essentials, including luggage, backpacks, passport covers, and neck pillows. The company differentiates itself through an emphasis on fast delivery, accessible price points, and stylish, durable travel gear tailored for India’s growing population of urban travelers.
Key Highlights
Escape Plan plans to use the freshly raised capital to expand inventory, strengthen its quick commerce capabilities, and partner with established travel and lifestyle brands. In addition to its online-first strategy, the company is aggressively scaling offline, with plans to launch over 100 retail stores across India in the next 18 to 24 months. These stores aim to bridge the gap between digital and physical retail, offering immersive brand experiences while catering to instant purchase needs.
