South Asia has witnessed a huge collaboration between Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC of Sri Lanka and IT industries IBM. This new collaboration will be pushing the modernization of the financial institution’s digital infrastructure, to deliver more secure banking services in a faster network across Sri Lanka.
Pan Asia Banking has upgraded its traditional infrastructure into a technologically advanced one. Sri Lanka’s financial landscape has seen wide shifts in recent times, due to rapid evolvements of technology. This has resulted in increased customer demand for improvised banking services, backed up by technology. Hence, Pan Asia Banking has upgraded its technology infrastructure with advanced servers, AI-powered application monitoring and data storage. This has helped the bank to deliver more effective services to their customers.
IBM has innovated the latest technology further by collaborating with its business partner South Asian Technologies (SAT). This collaboration has resulted in creation of IBM Power10 servers, IBM FlashSystem Storage and IBM Instana which are integrated with the latest AI and hybrid cloud solutions. With the current progressive state of Sri Lanka’s finance field and customer needs, this collaboration will yield Pan Asia Bank’s future technological goals.
