Jouslin Khairallah, managing director and founder of Khairallah Advocates further said, "Emirati and GCC clients typically get advice on structuring investments, local regulations, M&A deals, and dispute resolution in Indonesia, whereas Indonesian clients tend to need help in acquiring business presence, enforcing contracts, and arbitration proceedings in the UAE."

The two companies view the alliance as a means to deal with increasing legal sophistication in areas including infrastructure, halal industry compliance, fintech, energy, and real estate development. "Through this alliance, issues involving concomitant multi-jurisdictional input, like contract negotiations, investment compliance or enforcement of arbitral awards, could now be dealt with more effectively," Khairallah said.
Simbolon highlighted that the alliance allows Khairallah Advocates to referral and work confidently on Indonesian law cases, thereby providing sure-footed representation. The non-exclusive partnership is founded on compatible values, referrals, and operational collaboration, where both firms maintain room to engage additional partners when required.
