The subsidiary of WPG Holdings and one of the leading semiconductor distributor Silicon Application Corp (SAC) Group has gained exclusive rights to distribute Edge AI chips of Axelera AI across the Asia-Pacifix region. This partnership will be combining SAC’s supply chain expertise with Axelra’s advanced AI technology. This will give boost to smart transformation across various sectors such as security, drones, retail, healthcare, and industrial automation.
John Wilkins, Axelera AI’s Global Channel Sales Director said, "To encourage the mass adoption of AI, we established the Axelera Partner Accelerator Network Program. We are happy to have WPG Holdings' SAC Group as our key strategic partner in the Asia-Pacific region."

SAC will enhance its existing product portfolio, supporting equipment manufacturers, system integrators, and software vendors to speed up Edge AI deployment from proof of concept to mass production. During the first half of 2025, WPG Holdings recorded highest revenue globally among semiconductor distributors and diversified its AI products to more than 30 AI-related chip suppliers. "Since 2023, when AI surged, we have rolled out an AI acceleration program for products, services, and investment," noted Eddie Chou, Senior Project Director at WPG Holdings'.
With this partnership and collaboration, SAC will offer end-to-end solutions and services from product selection to system testing and enable customers to transition and implement Edge AI technologies smoothly.
