Seekho, an India-based OTT platform focused on short-form learning videos in local languages, has raised US$28 million in a Series B round led by Bessemer Venture Partners.
The round also saw participation from Goodwater Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Elevation Capital, reinforcing strong investor confidence in the edtech startup’s growth model. Founded in 2020, Seekho has quickly carved out a niche in India’s digital learning ecosystem by offering 3–5 minute educational videos designed for quick consumption. Its content spans business operations, language learning, and self-improvement, catering to learners who prefer bite-sized knowledge modules.
Key Highlights
Currently, the platform delivers content in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, with Kannada and Bengali slated to launch soon. The funding will also accelerate its international ambitions, with plans to enter US and global markets, positioning Seekho as a cross-border edtech innovator.
India’s edtech sector continues to attract global capital, and Seekho’s regional-language-first strategy addresses one of the biggest challenges in online education: accessibility beyond English. By combining vernacular content with short formats, the platform is tapping into both India’s tier-2 and tier-3 cities and an international audience looking for efficient learning formats.
