Malaysia-based developer of Vision AI software Tapway Sdn. Bhd. has named Advantech Co., Ltd., Appomax Co., Ltd., and S I Media Co., Ltd. as its official channel partners in Thailand, a crucial milestone in its expansion drive across Southeast Asia.
The alliance is Tapway's latest market expansion in Indonesia and reinforces its regional footprint in Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand.
With the deal, the three Thai entities will resell Tapway's SamurAI Vision AI licenses and provide localized technical capabilities, implementation, and support to retail, manufacturing, logistics, and smart cities industries.
Advantech (Thailand) General Manager Matrix Choong was upbeat: "Tapway's robust platform allows us to develop Vision AI solutions for inspection, analytics, and sophisticated BI. With their solution and technical assistance, we are confident we can tackle important customer issues."

Tapway's SamurAI solution, which came out in 2024, drives more than 2,000 deployments across the region.
The company is aiming for 500 new camera licenses to be installed in Thailand within the next 12 months, driving real-time visual analytics adoption for operational efficiency and intelligent infrastructure.
