Japanese multinational conglomerate Toshiba is set to feature its advanced lithium titanium oxide (LTO) SCiBTM battery in the upcoming ASIA Sustainable Week 2025. This event will be held in Bangkok from July 2 to 4 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC).
This event has facilitated the company to share the vast application of the new lithium-ion battery. According to the Japanese company, SCiBTM lithium titanium oxide (LTO) anode battery is manufactured to provide outstanding safety, with a rapid charging system and long battery life. This facilitates an effective charging of 80 percent in six minutes and a long lifecycle of over 20,000 charge-discharge cycles, which facilitates mobility and logistics applications.
Due to its space efficiency, and fast turnaround supporting efficient cleaning and operations, Toshiba’s new battery can help in accelerating the effectiveness in multiple fields which includes electric vehicles, energy storage systems, logistics fleets, and maritime vessels.

The new SCiBTM supports decarbonization due to its unique design. As the battery can be used in many platforms, it supports sustainability across transportation, logistics, maritime and energy sectors.
