DASAL Aviation Technologies, a subsidiary of Altınay Defense Technologies, continues to uplift Türkiye’s presence in the global defense sector through its radical unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems. At the 2025 Langkawi International Maritime and Aviation Exhibition (LIMA) in Malaysia, DASAL signed a major agreement with PM Defence, advancing a partnership that began with a goodwill deal in 2024.
This new agreement highlights a strategic milestone in Türkiye-Malaysia defense ties, focusing on expanding UAV technology collaboration, increasing exports, and adopting bilateral security cooperation. The signing was attended by Malaysian Defence Minister Mohamed Khaled Bin Nordin, featuring the partnership’s considered importance.
DASAL General Manager Murat Koç emphasized that the deal supports Türkiye’s broader goal of contributing to the security of associated nations with high-tech solutions, while improving the country’s defense export potential. PM Defence Chairman Dato' HJ Bastien Bin Onn rebounded these sentiments, noting the collaboration’s potential to deepen Malaysia–Turkey defense industry ties.
