The corporate training industry in Thailand is expanding, providing technical training, leadership programs and methods for making organizations more effective. To support the economy, boost skills and meet the needs of many sectors, this sector provides both online and offline educational services. Furthermore, the corporate training industry has undergone various transformations over the years ensuring that the future is safe.
There are majorly two key drivers shaping the future of corporate training. First is the rise of project-based roles. This has shifted focus from authority to influence, making leadership development increasingly vital for organizations. The second is digital transformation. This deals particularly with the integration of artificial intelligence and is set to play a significant role in training. In today’s world of digitalization and AI, what is still lacking are the human touch and emotional intelligence which can only be obtained through human-led training. Going hand-in-hand with technology and emotional intelligence is IMS Trainings.
Spearheaded by Francis Lotzer, the company specializes in corporate training services focused on management, leadership, and negotiation skills. The company offers tailored training programs delivered globally, including in Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, and America, for major clients like Bouygues, Philip Morris, Schneider Electric, Michelin, TotalEnergies and UPL Limited. Services include in-person and online training sessions, leveraging Lotzer’s expertise as a certified DISC Practitioner and his 20 years of experience in developing professional skills.
The Strategic Approach
The company consistently delivers impactful training solutions, whether by combining leadership and negotiation modules into a single day or crafting customized programs tailored to client needs. The company’s identity is deeply rooted in its cross-cultural foundation. “My wife, who is Thai, serves as the CEO, while I’m French and I’m the lead trainer. This unique blend reflects our real-world approach to the Asia-Pacific market, combining local leadership with international expertise”, explains Francis Lotzer, Director, IMS Trainings. Having a Thai CEO and a French trainer allows the company to authentically connect with diverse clients and bring a truly global perspective to the training programs.
What truly distinguishes its approach is a strong commitment to experiential learning. Over 70 percent of each session is hands-on, emphasizing real-world application through role-plays, simulations, and interactive exercises. This practical focus ensures that participants not only understand concepts but also retain and apply their skills in real-life professional scenarios. By fostering active participation and immediate relevance, the training enables deeper internalization of key competencies. The result is not just improved individual performance, but long-lasting value for organizations seeking meaningful behavioral change and enhanced workplace effectiveness.
IMS Trainings employs a strategic, three-tiered approach to leadership development that ensures both immediate impact and long-term growth. The first step involves aligning target participants and their senior management with a unified leadership language and shared understanding. This alignment sets the foundation for meaningful change and organizational cohesion. The second layer focuses on sustained learning through structured, multi-level training journeys such as Leadership Level 1 in the first year, followed by Level 2 in the next.
This progression allows participants to gradually deepen their skills and apply them with increasing confidence and competence over time.
Most crucially, IMS Trainings emphasizes personalized one-on-one follow-up coaching after the training. These sessions are designed to assess participants’ key takeaways and evaluate how effectively they are applying their learning in real-life scenarios. This ongoing engagement allows trainers to measure the impact of the training, offer tailored support, and address any individual challenges that may arise. By combining alignment, phased learning, and individual coaching, the company fosters meaningful behavioral change, enhances skill retention, and delivers measurable results, making the development journey both impactful and enduring for clients. “Our methodology is highly customized and flexible like a Swiss knife. We adapt to various needs of the clients and never say no to a challenge”, states Francis Lotzer.
Furthermore, the company has adapted quickly to technological trends by redesigning its in-class training modules for remote sessions, ensuring continuity and effectiveness in a fully online format during the COVID phase. While in-person sessions have resumed, a significant portion of the training is still conducted remotely. “When it comes to assessment and facilitation that is with respect to AI, we continue to prioritize human interaction”, explains Francis. The clients prefer a lot of human interaction and have a trainer directly engage with them rather than giving them AI-driven solutions.
Client-Led Insights
IMS Trainings employs a variety of feedback mechanisms to continually enhance and fine-tune its training programs, ensuring they remain relevant and effective. One key method is the use of Net Promoter Score (NPS) assessments conducted immediately after each session to gauge client satisfaction and capture real-time insights. These formal evaluations provide valuable data to improve content and delivery.
Beyond these structured tools, the company benefits significantly from positive word-of-mouth referrals. While this organic promotion is not formally tracked, it serves as a powerful indicator of the training’s effectiveness and impact. Participants who experience the company’s programs often enthusiastically recommend the company to their colleagues and teams, amplifying its reach and credibility within professional networks.
This informal endorsement highlights the genuine value and influence of the company’s offerings. The consistent referrals and recommendations reflect a strong trust and confidence in the training outcomes, demonstrating that the sessions resonate deeply with participants. This blend of formal feedback and organic advocacy positions IMS Trainings as a respected and impactful training provider, continually shaping programs that meet client needs while expanding its reputation through authentic participant experiences.

Furthermore, thorough understanding of the client’s current and future situation is required to analyze the situation appropriately. Hence, to ensure the training is precisely targeted, the company conducts one-on-one interviews with each participant before the program. “So, for example, if I have to train 30 participants, I carry out 30 interviews one-to-one with everyone. This makes sure that I've got each one’s expectation correctly. Only after this, the training begins”, explains Francis. This meticulous approach allows the company to gather individual contexts, challenges, and expectations, ensuring that the client’s needs are met.
The Robust Future Roadmap
Looking ahead, IMS Trainings is focused on accelerating its growth and expanding its market presence through strategic partnerships and a collaborative delivery approach. To support this vision, the company is actively onboarding skilled freelance consultants and trainers capable of delivering its leadership programs with the same high standards and impact. By integrating external expertise into its model while maintaining strict quality benchmarks, the company aims to scale its operations efficiently. This approach allows the company to extend its reach across diverse industries and client segments, ensuring consistent delivery and performance. Through this flexible yet qualitydriven strategy, IMS Trainings is well-positioned to meet increasing demand and strengthen its foothold in an increasingly competitive training landscape.
