Accomplishments & Future Roadmap
One of the most prestigious projects taken up by Secon Engineering Consultancy is for Sterling and Wilson. The firm executed one of the major Solar Projects in the Middle East in Abu Dhabi, UAE with a generation capacity of 1177MW as a Project Management Consultant. The initial plan was to have a capacity of 350MW before it was enhanced to the preset rating.
Around three million Solar Panels were installed over 8.2 square kilometers with a solar power generation voltage of .4kv, further stepping up to 33kv through a step-up transformer of 2MVA. This voltage was then transmitted to a substation 33kV/220kv stepped-up transformer of 500MVA. The resulting value was further transmitted to the nearby Grid Station of 220kv through 220Kv XLPE underground Cables to a tune of over 12 kilometers. Throughout the whole process, the team was constantly coordinating with the Owner/ Engineer for all aspects of the activities involved.
