BDx Data Centers (BDx), Asia's top data center operators, today announced a strategic collaboration with HEXA Renewables to lead the way in a cross-border model for renewable energy that will deliver at least 50MW of green power into the Singapore-Malaysia energy grid.
The move is made amid Singapore's forecast to introduce more than 300MW of new data center capacity, increasing demand for green energy solutions.
The partnership responds to the challenge of Singapore sourcing renewable power by investing in new green energy initiatives in Malaysia and making additional capacity available that would otherwise be unviable.
"Performance and sustainability need not be at odds with each other. Our collaboration with HEXA Renewables connects hyperscale data center expansion to renewable energy and is a new benchmark for digital infrastructure cross-border cooperation." stated Mayank Srivastava, CEO of BDx Data Centers.

Vince Choi, HEXA Renewables CEO, further said, "As Singapore developing its Green Plan 2030, the private sector needs to set the example. This collaboration with BDx is a significant step forward in cross-border energy collaboration. It furthers national sustainable objectives while demonstrating the strength of regional partnership in driving the energy transition.”
