Brinc, the Hong Kong–based global venture accelerator, has acquired OG Club, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) focused on Web3, and will rebrand its community as VentureVerse.
The move is designed to strengthen Brinc’s digital assets ecosystem and expand its footprint in Web3 entrepreneurship. OG Club brings a strong foundation with 25,000+ community members, 10,000+ wallet holders, partnerships with over 100 Web3 companies, and a track record of organizing more than 300 Web3 events across 10 countries.
By integrating this community with Brinc’s accelerator network, VentureVerse will provide AI-driven tools and blockchain-powered features to support founders, mentors, and investors.
Key Highlights
The acquisition highlights how Web3 companies increasingly prioritize active communities and partnerships over purely technical infrastructure. With the rebrand, Brinc essentially acquires a ready-made distribution channel that would take years to build organically.
A key feature of VentureVerse will be its planned utility token (VXV), designed to function as operational infrastructure for rewards, governance, and payments—moving beyond tokens as fundraising mechanisms. This approach reflects broader Web3 trends where tokenized economies empower stakeholders through participation, creating a “flywheel effect” of engagement.

The move follows Brinc’s $30 million Series B round led by Animoca Brands and builds on its history of accelerating 1,250+ startups with a combined market cap of $1.6 billion. With VentureVerse, Brinc aims to scale a next-generation, community-driven startup ecosystem aligned with Web3 principles.
