India’s leading global airline, Air India has entered interline partnership with four major airlines. This partnership announcement came on June 03. This collaboration between the airlines has increased its Europe connectivity, tackling the changing market problem.
The four partners of the Indian-origin airline company are airBaltic, Bulgaria Air, Cyprus Airways, and Uzbekistan Airways. This collaboration will also provide the opportunity for the passengers to experience destinations across six countries, with travel options being enabled for more than 16 countries.
This global collaboration by the company has made Air India the connector globally. This partnership enables all of the passengers to travel across continents in a single ticket, which will combine Air Indian flights with its partnered flights.
Chief Commercial Officer of Air India, Nipun Aggarwal said, “These four new interline partnerships significantly enhance Air India’s global reach and open seamless pathways to vibrant cities across some of the most important emerging markets of today. Our partnerships with airBaltic, Bulgaria Air, Cyprus Airways, and Uzbekistan Airways, bring more travel options and smoother journeys for our growing base of customers worldwide as well as reinforce India’s rising status as a key global aviation hub.”
Each airline in the partnership will be providing connection services to different continental cities via India. This international partnership in aviation has made India a key nation in connecting global aviation hubs.
