NODWIN Gaming, South Asia's biggest gaming and esports firm, has signed an agreement with the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) to handle media rights sales and distribution for the Esports World Cup (EWC) in South Asia, including India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. The two companies have committed to broadening the reach of the Esports World Cup in one of the world's fastest-expanding esports markets.
NODWIN will act as a strategic support partner, handling media rights while also serving as EWCF’s marketing partner in India to create and execute local campaigns. Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming said, “The Esports World Cup is a landmark moment for global esports, and we’re proud to partner with the EWCF to bring that experience to South Asia. Our goal is to make world-class esports content more accessible than ever.”
Key Highlights-
The EWCF, a non-profit organization that runs the globe's largest multi-title esports competition, hosted its inaugural 2024 edition for 1,500 players and 200 clubs from 100 countries with an all-time record prize pool of $60 million. It was watched by 500 million online fans and 2.6 million live attendees.
