In a world where success is often measured by speed and numbers, an increasing number of people are taking time to understand the one tool that shapes everything else, the mind. Across industries, both leaders and individuals are realizing that true growth does not only involve professional achievements, but inner harmony and clarity of mind.
This realization has placed coaching and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) as an important component of individual and workplace development. Previously confined to the periphery, these practices are now finding their way into the boardrooms and the living rooms alike, making individuals untangle old stories and rewriting their inner narrative.
Pamela Puja Kirpalani, Inner High Living’s founder, is at the forefront of this burgeoning movement toward self-awareness and mindful leadership. As an NLP-based coach, she has been a pioneer in the field for over a decade and provides coaching to individuals and groups to bring out their best. What began as her own quest for self-understanding has now turned into a mission to help others discover clarity, confidence, and purpose through the language of the mind.
Uncovering Layers of the Human Mind
Puja entered the coaching profession with the spirit of curiosity. Fascinated by the fact that thoughts determine behavior, she explored NLP while searching for tools to strengthen her professional and personal horizons. This approach resonates deeply with her as it addresses what she refers to as “the blind spots of the mind”; the restrictive beliefs and patterns which silently drive the ways people perceive themselves and the world they live in.
By applying NLP techniques on herself, Puja started deconstructing the beliefs that kept holding her back. It was a process that she puts as, peeled back mental layers much like an onion, uncovering the root cause of fear, doubt and hesitation. “The results were revolutionary. Once you sweep away those old ideas you create space to bring in new ones that really assist you to be who you are becoming”, she says. That personal experience formed the ground of her coaching philosophy.
The Power of Reframing the Mind
Today, through Inner High Living, Puja works with clients around the world, including corporate teams, entrepreneurs, professionals and even couples who need guidance. Her sessions extend beyond the conventional coaching. They encourage individuals to dive into the subconscious mind and clarify what actually motivates them. To several individuals it is the crossroad between being stagnant and discovering significant advancement.
The central idea of Puja’s work lies in the principle that reality is shaped by words and patterns of thoughts. NLP emphasizes the understanding of how language, both verbal and nonverbal affects our decisions and emotions. With the assistance of discovering the mental scripts that people subconsciously live by, she assists them in redefining these scripts in order to foster healthier and more productive results.
Clients visit her for various reasons such as lack of confidence, low self-esteem, relationship issues, career confusion, or just because they want to grow to their full human capacity. With NLP sessions, Puja aids them to trace these issues to their root causes, which are mostly the early life experiences which could have influenced ingrained beliefs. After determining these beliefs, she employs certain NLP methods to substitute them with new mental models that promote resilience and confidence.
She finds clarity as one of the most frequent outcomes. She says that many clients enter the office with the notion that they know what they want, and after the second session with them, they realize that what they need is completely different. This deeper self-awareness, does not just solve the immediate concerns but also provides the clients with the means to overcome the challenges in the future.
Her work often yields tangible results that go beyond emotions. Some participants who attended her NLP sessions have also shared that their Apple Watches have tracked brainwave patterns similar to deep meditation conditions. Others mentioned that they had better sleep, felt happier, and stress levels were significantly reduced.
These physical indications reaffirm what she has always believed, that the mind and body are deeply interconnected, and when one heals, the other follows.
Cultivating Cohesion in the Modern Workplace
Although she conducts one-on-one interaction with individuals, an increasing segment of Inner High Living is dedicated to corporate and team-based programs. She has witnessed a distinct change in what organizations are seeking today; a culture of cohesion, empathy, and shared values. To reinforce this, she develops NLP-based workshops through which the teams can synchronize their objectives and enhance interpersonal relationships.
Her corporate training is organized in two sections. The first focuses on team goals, using NLP techniques to improve communication, collaboration, and trust. The second is guided visualization exercises which assist the participants to relax and reach inner self. You cannot have one without the other, she explains. You cannot create a strong team unless people feel safe and centered within themselves.
Over the years, Puja has conducted workshops for organizations such as the Singapore Police Force, Changi Airport, SingHealth, YPO/WPO, and others across India, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Portugal, and Hong Kong. A SingHealth Group Deputy Chief Financial Officer shared, “I have no hesitation to say that our NLP session with Pamela was the highlight of our Retreat. Be assured we have all gone back enriched with your valuable lessons which we will surely incorporate in our personal and professional lives”.
Her most requested workshops include those on nonverbal communication, influence, and persuasion. These explore how subtle gestures, posture, and tone can build rapport and strengthen relationships — particularly for executives and sales professionals who rely on interpersonal connection. By teaching the “unspoken language” of communication, Puja helps participants understand not only what they express, but how they express it.
Participants often describe her sessions as transformative. “My aura ring thought I was napping during the NLP Guided Meditation yesterday! Wild, I have never seen that before, where my body was in a nap state while I was awake. Thank you for such an awesome experience!” said, Co-Founder of Red Mart, Singapore.
Beyond professional results, participants frequently report feeling calmer, more confident, and better equipped to handle stress. Many describe moments of reflection and emotional release as they reconnect with parts of themselves they had long neglected in the pursuit of performance.
In addition to professional advantages, such sessions frequently leave team members feeling calmer, more confident, and equipped to cope with the stress. The participants have reported having some calm moments of reflection, at times almost an emotional release as they rediscover some elements of themselves that they had neglected in the pursuit of performance.
A Philosophy Rooted in Wholeness
Her devotion to holistic development is also reflected in her authorship. Her book, ‘Whole: 11 Universal Truths for an Inspired Life’ is a mirror of her personal experience; a study of virtues such as humility, courage, and willpower. The chapters incorporate a mix of personal experience with neuroscience, encouraging readers to cultivate balance and self-awareness in a fast-paced world. For Puja, wholeness is not a state to reach but a practice to live by.
Never trust your mind until you move your body
This belief is reflected in her personal routine. Every morning starts with breath work, meditation, and movement that she calls her three non-negotiable. She tends to use a mantra that summarizes her philosophy: “Never trust your mind until you move your body”. She says that physical movement grounds emotional stability and prepares the mind to be creative and think rationally.
Reframing Progress Through Presence
With the world becoming increasingly open to the discussions of mental wellness and human potential, Puja believes NLP will keep on developing as the bridge between psychology and real life. She envisions a world where organizations will not consider personal development as a luxury, but as a mandatory aspect of career progression.
Her next target is to extend corporate workshops that foster performance and inner balance. Whether it is a CEO that she is working with or a new recruit, the purpose remains the same, to help individuals feel at ease within themselves and confident in their direction. “The biggest change occurs when individuals understand that they already possess everything they require in themselves”, she says. In her efforts with Inner High Living, Puja keeps reminding the world that the true process of development starts inside a person, one thought, one breath, and one belief at a time.
