Roshni Nadar Malhotra is the Chairperson of HCLTech, thus becoming the First Female to head a listed IT company in India. She took the leadership role in 2020, after her father, Shiv Nadar, and has since steered HCLTech into newer ventures, including AI and cybersecurity. She is also involved in philanthropy, further enriching Women Empowerment Stories through her initiatives.
She is a Trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation, which supports education and leadership programs. She also happens to be the Chairperson of VidyaGyan, which aids bright students from rural areas, and she started The Habitats Trust, which protects India's wild heritage.
Roshni did her undergraduate in communications from Northwestern University and holds an MBA from Kellogg. She also finds a place on Forbes and Fortune lists of the most powerful women in the world, and is a recipient of France's highest civilian award. She has much to say about conservation and is actively engaged in producing films on India's endangered species. Through her endeavour, Roshni attempts to unify competent leadership with social and ecological consciousness.
