When learning is infused with joy, learners reap a wealth of benefits. They perform better academically, feel more positive about their schooling, engage more deeply in lessons, and gain confidence in their skills. All these positives fuel a lifelong passion for learning – a trait that every parent wishes to cultivate in their children. Fun Learners’ School embodies this approach. Guided by principles from educational research and psychology, our school provides distinctive lessons, workshops, and prep camps for major exams.
We aim to equip our learners with study strategies and exam techniques for achieving their academic best. Our curriculum covers English, Chinese, Math, and Science. Till date, the school has successfully taught over 18,689 learners, wherein, many of them have become scholars and university graduates who make valuable contributions to society. Through cultivating self-belief and the joy of learning, the school strives to unleash the fullest potential of every learner.
“We identify certain aspects of our teaching ideology with each of the four main orientations of education (Schiro, 2008). At Fun Learners’ School, we believe that our teachers and staff are the backbone of our institution. Our team consists of highly qualified and experienced educators who are passionate about teaching and inspiring children to become lifelong learners. With a deep understanding of child development and learning styles, our teachers create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages children to explore, discover, and grow,” highlights Chee Chin Young, Founder & Principal at Fun Learners’ School.
Going Beyond Traditional Learning Deliverability
Fun Learners’ staff members are also dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes children and parents feel comfortable and valued. Furthermore, the
teachers and staff strive to make Fun Learners’ School a place where children can thrive and develop a love for learning that will stay with them for life. The main focus of its learning delivery is to equip learners with the competitive learning skills to apply and excel in their academic pursuits. Fun Learners’ School also believes in driving cognitive efficiency, wherein, it teaches the thinking strategies behind the practice that makes it perfect.
Furthermore, it strives for fostering self-actualisation by commending the learner's efforts, improvements and achievements. Its teaching disposition aims to encourage each individual to realise their best qualities and potential in both academic and non-academic fields.
The school also focuses on social reconstructionism by inculcating the spirit of positivity and mental resilience to counter any negative attitudes towards education. Instead of viewing difficulty and stress as impediments to happiness, learners are nurtured to embrace them as opportunities for growth.
Fostering Moral & Ethical Learning
Fun Learners’ School believes that education is not just about imparting knowledge and skills but also about developing responsible and contributing citizens. As Kantzara (2009) has pointed out, the societal function of education is to help individuals become valuable members of society. The school understands that education must go beyond academic excellence and include the development of strong moral and ethical values. That’s why its teachers are not just selected based on their academic qualifications but also their integrity and values. As role models for the students, the teachers lead by example and instill the values of humility, service, and personal responsibility to their students.
“Our Linchpin CompetencyTM is a unique approach that empowers our students to take ownership of their learning and personal development. Through this system, students are given appointments of responsibility and the opportunity to exercise personal responsibility for their efforts and actions. By taking turns in these appointments, our students learn to work collaboratively, respect their peers, and contribute to the community,” explains Chee Chin Young.
Fun Learners’ School firmly believes that learning should be a fun and engaging experience for children. It understands that when learning becomes monotonous, children can lose interest and become disengaged.
That’s why it strives to make learning enjoyable and interactive by incorporating classroom games and incremental challenges that make the learning experience more engaging and rewarding for our students.
Fun Learners’ School teaching methodology constantly evolves with the educational landscape. In order to train Learners to be extraordinary achievers, our teaching methods cannot be conventional. We are always ready to challenge the norms with our range of in-house strategies, alongside practices validated by educational research around the world. Furthermore, the school believes that a strong education system is essential for ensuring that our future generations continue to prosper and progress in a world of rising competition.

We offer a diverse range of programs and activities that cater to different interests and learning styles, ensuring that each child can explore and discover their passions.
